Terms for using Mentalics
These terms apply to the Mentalics service: the customer panel at mentalics.ai, the alerts it delivers, the Mentalics assistant, and the Mentalics apps and bots for Slack, Telegram and Microsoft Teams. If your organisation has signed a separate agreement or order form with us, that agreement prevails where it differs from these terms.
1. The service
Mentalics monitors publicly available online content about the brands, people and topics a customer chooses, evaluates it with automated and AI-based methods against the customer's own rules, and delivers alerts, reports and answers to the panel and to the messaging channels the customer connects.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are created for named users of a customer organisation. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- The customer is responsible for who it invites to the panel and for which channels it connects. Anyone who can see a connected channel can see the alerts delivered there.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, stalk or unlawfully profile individuals;
- monitor subjects you have no legitimate interest in, or use the output in breach of data-protection law;
- attempt to access other customers' data, probe or bypass security controls, or overload the service;
- resell or redistribute the service or its output outside your organisation without our written consent.
4. Third-party platforms
The service relies on third-party platforms: the social networks content is collected from, and the messaging platforms (Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams) alerts are delivered to. Their own terms apply to your use of them. Their availability and policy changes may limit what the service can collect or deliver, and we are not responsible for content published by third parties.
5. Automated and AI output
Alerts, classifications, summaries, reports and assistant answers are produced automatically and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. They are decision support, not legal, financial or professional advice. Check the underlying source before acting on an alert.
6. Fees
Fees, billing periods and usage limits are set in your order form or agreement. Pilot or trial access is provided as agreed in writing.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but, unless your agreement says otherwise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or improve features; we will tell customers in advance about changes that materially reduce the service they have paid for.
8. Data and privacy
How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Customer account data and the rules and settings a customer creates belong to the customer. The Mentalics software, models and know-how remain ours.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service as set out in your agreement. We may suspend access that breaches these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why. On termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of automated output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, unless your agreement provides otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
We update these terms when the service changes and record the date above. Questions: use our contact page.
